Am I really locked In the Room?

Many people associate Escape Rooms with being “trapped in a room”. Not in our escape room, we focus on suspense, immersion, fun and team building. The truth is only about 50% of escapes use the “trapped” scenario. Mobile Escapes NJ Escape Room does not pretend to trap you in a room. We have other scenarios that you have to accomplish for you and your team to win.

What will happen once I am in the trailer?

Once you are in the trailer you will have the ability to escape by solving clues, puzzles, riddles, obstacles, and challenges. There is an opportunity for every person to contribute to the team’s success. The trailer is fully decorated in your escape’s theme, and everything you need to solve the escape is provided within the trailers walls. Mobile Escapes NJ is truly a theatrical experience with state of the art sets, and props and a twist around every corner.

Is this experience scary?

While our escape rooms can be quite thrilling, they are not scary at all.

How old must I be to participate?

Ages 8 - 108, as long as you're young at heart...
 
Ages 8 to 13 yrs. old and up are permitted with an adult, ages 14 to 17 are permitted without an adult as long as an adult stays within the vacinity of our rooms for the duration of the experience. All adventurers will need to sign our waiver regardless of age (a parent or guardian will sign for anyone under 18 years of age).

How many people can participate?

Our mobile room escapes can accept 2-6 participants per room at a time. Do you have a larger group? Mobile Escape NJ has solutions to accommodate groups as large as 200 people. Please call 833-372-4263 to inquire.

There are only 2, 3, 4, or 5 of us, will we get the room all to ourselves?  "

At fairs and festivals, depending on the capacity in each room, if you do not book the room in it's entirety there is a chance that you will be with others.  If you would like to be with your group only, you can book all of the "available" spots for that experience. Maximum capacity for each trailer escape room is 6 people, and, when available, each tent experience holds 8 people.
 
Corporate Events and Private Parties- anywhere from 2-6 people will be with you during your adventure, as time allows.

How long does the whole process take?

Mobile Escapes NJ can vary the length of its escape room to a time of your choosing. We have 60 minute, 45 minute, 30 minute, and 15 minute adventures.

Are the rules difficult if I have never done an escape room?

Before entry, MENJ will provide to you the Game Rules of Conduct (displayed and verbal). For your safety and for the safety of our staff make sure to listen fully to your MENJ staff.

May I bring food or alcohol into the escape?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely no food or drink is allowed into Mobile Escapes NJ. Mobile Escapes NJ also has a no drug and alcohol policy. If it is suspected that you are under the influence of drugs or alcohol Mobile Escape NJ reserves the right to deny you access without a refund.

What happens in the event of inclement weather?

If you booked the Mobile Escapes NJ fully enclosed trailer, the show goes on rain, snow, or shine.
 
If we are located in a fair or festival, cancellation is determined by the host. Please check their website for more details.

Question 12

What is Mobile Escapes NJ Cancellation Policy?

For fairs and festivals - All bookings are subject to our no refund policy. If you need to reschedule your appointment time, it is subject to availability for the day of the event. Any inquiry can be made at the Mobile Escapes NJ booth.
 
All others - Scheduled events occur rain or shine. Full refunds less a 10% processing fee will be issued for registration cancellations made three (3) weeks prior to an event. The refund request must be emailed to info@mobileescapesnj.com. After this time, reservations have been guaranteed and we will be unable to provide a refund.

How do I obtain a parking permit for Mobile Escapes NJ?

Mobile Escapes NJ is here to make your party as easy as possible for you to plan. We will guide and assist you to obtain any permits and reserved parking necessary with your city or village. Mobile Escapes NJ also works with many park districts, office complexes, and restaurants to bring the adventure to where ever you are. Any charges for parking permits will be the responsibility of the party host.

How much space does Mobile Escapes NJ need to park?

Our truck and trailer request 60 ft to park, 80 to maneuver.

Do we need to provide an electrical hook up for Mobile Escapes NJ?

Accepted Answer

Mobile Escapes NJ is equipped with an 4000 Watt Ultra Quiet Generator to power itself. No Outlets or cords are necessary from you.

Question 16

What is your payment plan for Mobile Escapes NJ private parties?

Accepted Answer

We require a 50% non refundable deposit to secure your date and a location. Full Payment is due 2 weeks before the event.

Question 17

How far in advance do you recommend we book our event?

Accepted Answer

We recommend booking your private party at least 4 weeks out, but we will do our best to accommodate your group at any time.
